Easy 10 point question about hair?

i have side bangs, and they always get weird and puffy in the morning, so there is no way i can wear it like that without looking retarded, so i have to pull it in the bang puff thing where you pull your bangs straignt back. that takes FOREVER for me to get right! how can i get my bangs to look soft and normal, and not puffy and weird when i wake up in the morning? i and by the way, i take showers around 10 to 11 pm, and wake up around 6. and i don't blow dry my hair. is that a problem? thank you!! i have leave in conditioner, detangling spray, hairspray, clips and everything... tell me what would help? thankyou!

Easy 10 point question about hair?

try putting leave in conditioner as soon as you wake up that way it makes your hair sorta wet and limp. then it should dry by the time that you get to school

Easy 10 point question about hair?

sounds like the best solution for you is a different cut talk to your stylist and find one that works for you

Easy 10 point question about hair?

i usually have a ton of trouble with my bangs too. what i do is after i take a shower at night i use a circle brush and blow dry my whole head plus my bangs. then i only straighten it a little, or i straighten it a lot if im planning on wearing my hair down the next day. but i alwayss straighten my bangs before i go to bed. then i dont really have to worry about them the next morning because they are fine. you just finish it off by just straightening the ends of the bangs but you dont always have to..it depends on what kind of sleeper you are i guess..lol if you move around a lot you might have to straighten it, if you dont move then you probably dont have to.

Easy 10 point question about hair?

If you can, start taking your showers earlier and keep letting your hair air dry. Sleeping with your hair wet makes it poofy and frizzy. That should help alot. =)

Easy 10 point question about hair?

sraightner ouwld help! And it would also help if you took a shower in the morning, bow dired you hair/bangs, and then straigtened them. I get up at 5:30 to take a shower!

Easy 10 point question about hair?

maybe just dampen them and take a small round brush and brush them while blow drying and if you need to you can straighten them. make sure before you aply any heat to your hair to put a heat protection spray so your hair doesn't get fried.

good luck :D

Easy 10 point question about hair?

try a straightener. it might smooth out your bangs and only takes a few minutes. you dont even need an expensive one. i use the 15 dollar one from wal mart and it works...and i have riduclously curly hair!

Easy 10 point question about hair?

you should blow dry it and if it doesnt work you should get some flat irons and flat iron it out

Easy 10 point question about hair?

I have naturally wavy hair and my bangs get totally tweeked in the morning. I straiten them with a curling iron. Try this and spritz them with hair spray.

Easy 10 point question about hair?

I have side bangs too and i take a shower and wake up around the same time as you. what i do is i do the back of my hair like if if i want a pony tail then i'll do it but leave the bangs out. then wet your bangs (with water ) then take a circular brush and blow out the bangs. its takes literally 2 minutes and they come out cute. then if you want you can flat iron them. ( it makes them stay straight longer)

Easy 10 point question about hair?

I always put a big velcro roller in my bangs in the morning. You can get them at CVS/Walgreens/Rite Aid or wherever. You can still do everything that you do the same except in the morning roll your bangs under (towards your face) into a large velcro roller and leave it in while you get ready in the morning. To make it work even better put your blowdryer on it for a minute. It's a fast way to get your bangs looking normal and with volume, not like you slept all night on them!

Easy 10 point question about hair?

when you get up in the morning just wet your bangs and let them dry, the reason they get like this is because you move around when you sleep so they get all messed up and then dry like that, so i suggest that when you are doing your hair just wet them and if you have a straightener then use it once your hair is dry if not place them how you want them when there wet with a bobby pin, take it out when your hair is half dry then style it the way you want and spray it with hairspray this should work it helped when i had annoying bangs :]

Easy 10 point question about hair?

garnier fructis surf hair just use a lil at first to see if they stick...and if they do use a little bit more and then a soft bristle brush; brush it straight up and they either lay it down like the little bump thing or just lay it down on the side of ur face k! kisses

Sally's Hair and Beauty Store ? Hairdressers who shop there / anyone who shops there?

Hi, I have a Sally's Store in the town I live in, but the thing is they sell that many products for the hair how do you know which one is good to use. I keep wanting to go in an purchase something for my hair but as its quite exepensive I dont want to buy something and it not be good for my hair as its a waste of money. I was recommeded buy a hairdresser to get some heat protection spray from there, So I thought Id have alook at the shampoos and conditioners and I didnt know where to start.

Does anyone else shop there and which do you recommend are their best products.

Thanks

Sally's Hair and Beauty Store ? Hairdressers who shop there / anyone who shops there?

I bought a heat protection spray from my local Sally's. It was the best one I have ever used, hang on while i look up what it was called. I have used tons of different protector sprays, this is the only one which made my hair slightly oily, so had to be used sparingly, but much better than any others. I will get back to you with the name asap.

Sally's Hair and Beauty Store ? Hairdressers who shop there / anyone who shops there?

One great product that they have at Sally's is Motions, it's in a yellow and purple bottle, they have all types of products. It's wonderful.

Sally's Hair and Beauty Store ? Hairdressers who shop there / anyone who shops there?

different hair products are produced to bring certain results.

For damaged/dry hair I use Aussie 3-minute miracle. There are others that work on the same premise and even further: leave in conditioners.

for braids- beeswax or a high 3 gel settings

There are so many reasons for what you would want that I can't explain everything here. Sometimes there are samples for you try so you don't have to buy the full container.

Sally's Hair and Beauty Store ? Hairdressers who shop there / anyone who shops there?

My sister is a hairdresser and she says that that place is to expensive you are better off going to a hairdresser and getting some advice and buy it from them. Then you know your gettin the right product.

Sally's Hair and Beauty Store ? Hairdressers who shop there / anyone who shops there?

Look at Loreal's Nature's Therapy treatment mask for hair. It is GREAT!

Sally's Hair and Beauty Store ? Hairdressers who shop there / anyone who shops there?

I bought a heat protection spray from Sally's but it left my hair greasy, you should try GHD iron oil, you only need a little and it lasts for ages.

I have super straight hair and I hate it!?

I tried eveything to make it curly. It only turns curly when i do it with the curling iron. i wish i had my cousing hair. if you brush it hair and leave it to dry is becomes straight. if you come out of the shower and its curly. just add spray and it stays curly the whole day. Is there another way to make my hair curly.

I have super straight hair and I hate it!?

get a perm, you just cant wash your hair

I have super straight hair and I hate it!?

i'm there with you, just braid it, it stays for an ok while, but what's wrong with straight hair, it's not that bad

I have super straight hair and I hate it!?

I have the complete opposite problem lol.

But just get a perm.

I have super straight hair and I hate it!?

Have you tried hair rollars?

Buy mousse and before you curl your hair put plenty of it on that way the curls will stay.. Try IT!

I have super straight hair and I hate it!?

I have the opposite problem also lol. But i have a friend with the same problem. I invited her over and me and 5 of my other friends put her hair in "Jelly Rollers" by Conair. It worked perfectly! They heat up and then you leave them in until they curl. Put some hair spray on it and it should work.

Also, my mom has the Conair Turbo-heat curlig iron. It works really well.

Hope this helps!! 閳绢櫑udrina

I have super straight hair and I hate it!?

Boy,i wish i was you,i love straight hair, anyways go to a salon and get a perm that will last for whatever time you want it to(tell them how long you want it to last) And you CAN wash your hair when you have a perm just dont straighten your hair while you have a perm and dont use a straightening hair shampoo, and use a mousse or hairspray with it.You can also try hot rollers or gelly rollers.

Good luck!!^_^

I have super straight hair and I hate it!?

Getting layers cut into your hair will make it scrunch and get curly, FOR MOST PEOPLE! Some people just don't have versitile hair. That would leave a perm as your only choice. Good luck!

I have super straight hair and I hate it!?

step 1: wash your hair

step 2: put mousse and/or gel in your hair while its a bit wet

step 3: brush your hair

step 4: make 4 or more braids w/ your hair

step 5: sleep

step 6: when you wake up in the morning, take out your braids

you will get really wavy hair .....GOOD LUCK

Question about Jhonson's Detangler spray??

Is it non-toxic (I'm assuming it is bc its for toddlers and kids)... I'm wondering because my 22 month old daughter just sprayed it in her mouth.... just one spray but she started wiping her tongue with her hand... I gave her some milk to drink. You think she will be allright?

oh and she got it out of the diaperbag just now (I keepit in there because she has curly hair and if shes in the car seat for too long the back gets frizzy and thats the only way to fix it lol).

Question about Jhonson's Detangler spray??

How dilluted should lemon juice be if you're using it to highlight blonde hair?

My blonde hair keeps getting darker, especially in the winter, so I was thinking of using some lemon juice, but how dilluted should it be? Do I put some lemon juice and water in a spray bottle spray it on and thats it? Will it severely dry out my hair or make the colors uneven?

How dilluted should lemon juice be if you're using it to highlight blonde hair?

u dont dilute it ( =

How dilluted should lemon juice be if you're using it to highlight blonde hair?

don't use lemon juice! consult a hair specialist or research it!

How dilluted should lemon juice be if you're using it to highlight blonde hair?

I'd also have to go with not using lemon juice on your hair. It will dry it out majorly. If you insist on using it, compensate by using a deep conditioner (Like Aussie's 3 minute miracle, or the like) up to three times a week.

How dilluted should lemon juice be if you're using it to highlight blonde hair?

my mom used to do this and she would just take an actual lemon and squeeze it in her hair. I don't think the lemon juice needs to be diluted at all... just as much as a plain lemon would be.

How dilluted should lemon juice be if you're using it to highlight blonde hair?

Try using your lemon juice concoction on just little bit of your hair first, so you get an idea what's going to happen before you put it on all of your hair.

Chamomile tea is supposed to be good for bringing out highlights in blonde hair, too. Good luck :)

How dilluted should lemon juice be if you're using it to highlight blonde hair?

It's just going to dry out your hair and make it horrible and straw like (I did it years ago). If you've got blonde hair anyway, just go to Woolies and buy some L'Oreal or whatever brand of hair colour! It's simple and only around $11. Choose a shade a bit lighter than your own and make sure you do the strand test first if you haven't used it before. You can apply it to sections of your hair, so you don't have to colour your full head.

Or just go to a hairdresser and get half a head of foils.

How do I fix the frizzyness of my hair?

I don't have split ends on the bottom of my hair. Just the top of my head/hair is frizzy. I've tried various sprays and shampoos, but nothing works.

For Frizzy hair.. these ussually work really good.. and i have some more tips at the bottom.. which are great for healthy hair... so good luck!

- Anything from the brand FrizzEase works preety awesome. So does Infusium 23 shampoos.

*Hair still frizzy? Take a curling iron to the top layers. It will only take a second, and the heat will zap the frizz out.

*1 advacado, and 1 tsp. Olive Oil. Mash the advacado, and add the olive oil. Mix. massage into hair, leave in for 20 minutes. Wash hair as you normally would. You can double this 'recipe' if your hair is exceptionally thick or long.

* Mayonnaise. Yeah, sounds pretty gross.. But it will make your hair smooth and soft. Apply it to hair, leave it in for 10-15 minutes Rinse out, wash hair as you normally would.

Washing your hair everyday damages your hair.. read on more tips below!

Take good care of your hair! It will add to your charm - who can resist a person with lovely, silky hair? So do try out the above tips! Hope these littles tips have been useful! :)

Tips To Stop Hair Loss %26amp; Keep Healthy Hair Here are some hair care tips that you can use to help stop hair loss and keep your existing hair healthy and looking great. Please don't take these tips lightly. They are very important . The only thing they require is your time and commitment.

- Massage your scalp with your fingertips (not your nails) daily to stimulate and promote circulation to your scalp and reduce excess fallout. Invert your head while you shampoo %26amp; massage your scalp. This helps promote blood circulation to the head.

- Essential oils %26amp; tea . To stimulate scalp circulation, massage the scalp with rosemary essential oil or rinse hair with tea made from sage.

- Comb or brush your hair and scalp gently in the morning and at night. This helps break up hardened oils (sebum) that are clogging your hair follicles. Doing this alone has produced new hair growth. Do not over do combing or brushing.

- keep a distance from dryer's heat. When using blow dryers, always keep the heat a good distance from your scalp and hair. Avoid heating the scalp and hair excessively. Excessive heat will increase hair loss, and excess fallout.

- Avoid getting hair creams, lotions, styling gels and sprays directly on the scalp as they will clog your hair follicles. Use a light hold spray if you must.

- After swimming in a pool, shampoo your hair as soon as possible to remove any chlorine residue. Chlorine is extremely damaging to the hair and scalp.

- Avoid over-exposing your hair and scalp to the wind and sun. Good hair care over a long period really makes a difference!

- Avoid tight hats and caps as they contribute to poor circulation, depriving the hair of proper nutrition and stunting new hair growth. The sweat, dirt and grime around the rim inhibit follicle health and contribute to build-up.

- Always consult your health care provider for extreme causes of excess fallout and thinning. A medical condition or medication could be causing hair loss side-effects.

- Strive for balance and harmony in both your personal and professional lifestyle. High stress factors can cause your body to react by fluctuating hormone levels. This in turn causes excessive oil secretion (sebum) which results in hair loss.

- Pregnancy, nursing, menopause, and even birth control medication can cause constant changing factors on your nutritional needs and hormonal levels which contribute to hair loss and excess fallout.

- Avoid "crash and fad" diets. Proper nutritious meals along with vitamin and mineral supplements are a key factor for healthy hair and skin.

- Good hair care starts with awareness. These hair care tips, if followed consistently, will reduce excess fallout, hair loss, and promote new hair growth.

- Reduce hair loss effects by increasing your intake of vitamin C found in fresh fruits and vegetables, particularly citrus fruit and juices, parsley, broccoli, green peppers and black currants. Take a vitamin B complex everyday or brewers yeast. Increase your intake of protein found in meat, fish, liver, wheat germ, dried cooked beans and peas, tofu, cheese, milk and eggs.

- Take dietary supplements such as Vitamin B6, zinc %26amp; saw palmetto. Supplements are useful when you can't get enough from natural food sources.

- The Chinese believe that hair is nourished by the blood, and therefore influenced by the kidney %26amp; liver. Treatment is aimed at these organs using fleece flower root, wolfberry fruit or mulberry fruit.

- Eliminate stress or else it can be disastrous to your precious hair!

- Get enough sleep. Sleeping well is essential for the health of your hair as well as for the rest of your body.

There are ways you can help stop the grease from appearing but you have to work at it.

Do not wash everyday. The cleaner your hair is the more it can seep into your glands and harder it is to get rid of. When you do wash make sure you are washing with a cleaning shampoo and scrubbing the build up off. Take in mind that you also have to have a ph-balanced mild shampoo and lite scrubbing is recommended. Try to avoid conditioner at the roots, apply in the middle or on the ends.

Try to avoid oil in your daily food intake. And do eat more vegetables. You could visit your doctor but only after you check and consider your diet, drugs, alcohol, and your fatty food intake. Let's face it we see what McDonalds can do to your heart in a month, can you image your hair. You would be dripping everywhere.

Maybe it's time to change your shampoo. Ask your stylist what she or he would recommend. Avoid using shine products at all costs. Keep away from two-in-one shampoos and conditioners and any frizz serums.

To fix at the moment, rub a little Talcum Powder on your dried hair at the roots. Just make sure you wash it out. I wish they would event that magic product, but this will help until they do.

Here are 10 tips for to keep your hair strong, smooth, shiny and beautiful!

1. Keep your diet balanced, and eat protein and calcium rich foods. Stay away from junk foods! This is essential for healthy hair.

2. Foods and supplements to nourish your hair:

* Beans

* Yogurt

* Almonds

* Vitamin B

* Fish

* And of course, the magic potion for beauty - WATER

3. Before washing your hair, comb it well to make sure all knots has been loosened from your hair.

4. Before applying shampoo, use warm water (35 to 38 degrees Celsius) to run through your hair to rinse and wet it thoroughly.

5. When applying shampoo or conditioner, don't use your fingernails to scrape through your hair. Instead, use your palm and fingertips to massage your scalp and hair gently, in circular motions. This will help the circulation and also help to keep your hair shiny and smooth.

6. After rinsing away all the shampoo, run water over your hair for at least another half a minute (3 minutes is best) to ensure there are no remains of shampoo remaining in your hair, since this will cause a great deal of damage to your scalp.

7. When applying hair treatment products, do so just after you have washed your hair, so that your hair can absorb all the good stuff while it is half wet. This will be the best time for it to absorb nourishment.

8. NEVER go to bed with your hair wet! Hair that is half wet is most easily broken, and if you sleep during this time, your hair will be rubbing against each other, damaging your hair in the most terrible way.

9. Too much pressure may lead to hair loss! Relax... try some good relaxation methods such as soaking in a nice scented bath, listening to music, and eating healthy comfort foods such as strawberries and grapes.

10. Perming and coloring seriously damages your hair. Avoid it as much as possible. Also, when using hair setting products such as gel or putty, use as little as possible, because they hurt your scalp and hair. Wash them out thoroughly afterwards with a shampoo specially created for removing styling products.

How do I fix the frizzyness of my hair?

I just started using Pantene's Ice Shine shampoo and conditioner, and I have received so many compliments on my hair. At least five people have now started using it.

It makes your hair super shiny and conditioned.

My hair was getting very frizzy and out of control before I started using it.

How do I fix the frizzyness of my hair?

try dove shampoo----it work with me cause i have the same problem

How do I fix the frizzyness of my hair?

they make frizz control sprays. i found that just a bit of spike glue holds the top down well. its really heavy and just like the smallest little pea sized bit does the trick. wait til your hair drys and rub it out all over your hands and then kind of smash it on the frizzy parts that stick up.

How do I fix the frizzyness of my hair?

that brand aussie it comes in the small bottle its like a smoothing milk it makes your hair smell really nice too

How do I fix the frizzyness of my hair?

Try not to wash your hair every single day. Doing so can dry your hair out. Also try a natural bristle (boar bristle) brush since it helps bring out the natural oils in your hair. The natural oils may calm your frizzies. Good luck!

How do I fix the frizzyness of my hair?

Anti-humidity spray?!?

ok guys so i have this problem.

i straighten my hair every day but its very humid outside so as soon as i step out,

POOF.

can anyone recommend a good anti-humidity spray?

thanks so much!

Anti-humidity spray?!?

I have tried a LOT and the two I really liked was Matrix Smooth and Sleek spray, but right now I am using Sedu moisturizing heat protectant spray with my Sedu straightener and I have amazing results. folica.com sells this spray, and it comes in different types (smooth, moisturizing, volume). The Matrix spray left my hair a bit stiff.. but Sedu really made it touchable and sleek!

Anti-humidity spray?!?

ok im not positive its a humidity spray but its anti frizz and it sooo good and it smells amazing. its also like a shine spray- i lovee it!!!! its called TRESemme anti- frizz smooth shin spray

Anti-humidity spray?!?

Depends where you are what brands are available. But what you're looking for is an anti-humectant spray. I use and love Matrix Sleek Looks #4 - it's called straight lock or something. You spray it on before you iron it and it locks it straight, seriously even the little curls at the base of my neck stay straight.

Anti-humidity spray?!?

This is more of a hair spray than an anti-humidity spray, so don't use a ton of it or your hair will be plastic:

John Frieda's Moisture Barrier Firm-Hold Hairspray

If any moisture gets through your hair then, I'll be shocked, that stuff is like MAGIC.

I put the website under sources so you can see what the bottle looks like incase you go buy yourself some.

Good luck!

Anti-humidity spray?!?

garnier frutis ( i dont no da spelling )

* Beans

* Yogurt

* Almonds

* Vitamin B

* Fish

I had a friend like that, no matter what she did. Mayonnaise hair treat ments kinda helped. I recommend PAUL MITCHELS Deep hair treatment, it is AMAZING

How do I fix the frizzyness of my hair?

Hiya, well i used to have frizzy hair until i used Vo5 Silk and Smooth shampoo. its excellent! and ive got thick hair aswell. you should try it, and also after washing your hair try not to brush it.

Good luck!

How do I fix the frizzyness of my hair?

shave it. LOL ok that was mean um use that kangaroo hair spray it works for me...to an extent

Hair lighteners!?

my hair is dark brown, but everyone thinks its black. i showed my friends this by standing in the sunlight, my hair has this brownred look to it. it looks amazing i want my hair that color, i dont want to use bleach or dye it is there anything i could do? like sun-in-spray or anything like it.

thanks!

Hair lighteners!?

NO NO NO don't listen to them! If you want those natural tones to show through try having your hair layered condensed hair always looks darker. Other than that take your stylist outside and show her the color you like if you have virgin hair ( hair not previously colored ) She can achieve this with color only no bleach required.

Hair lighteners!?

Sun-In doesn't work on everyone's hair-you might get a pumpkin look. Use a blonde or red shampoo or conditioner- John Frieda has a good line available at Wal-Mart or drugstores to bring out the lighter parts or your locks!

Peace

Hair lighteners!?

Try lemon juice and get in the sun.

Hair lighteners!?

When you're outside (gardening, laying out, at the beach, whatever), take some lemon water mixture and spray it on your hair. One part lemon juice, one part water in a spray bottle that you can get at target, wal-mart, the dollar store, drug store, wherever. It will slightly lighten your hair (wherever the sun hits), and bring out your natural highlights. I wouldn't use anything that has peroxide in it--it'll bleach your hair and turn it orange. Lemon water is less expensive and more natural.

Hair lighteners!?

just use some peroxide. Comb it thru and use heat and light to lighten. Stop using when it is as light as you like. Just be careful or you will end up with orange hair.

Hair lighteners!?

The only other thing I can think of is sun in but don't use it unless you lemon juice your hair. My hair dresser told me to do that since it fryed my hair.

Hair lighteners!?

At Walmart they have this stuff for 'Dark Hair Only' I don't know what brand it is but go down the hair eisle and check it out. I used it to dye my hair from dark brown to really light brown and it worked. But if you have hair past your shoulders get two boxes, you want to saturate it.

Hair lighteners!?

they have a product called Sun-Lit which u can put in your hair to make it seem ligther, which can be fond in wall-mart

Hair lighteners!?

try lemon juice

Hair lighteners!?

When any lightening is done on natural haircolor, you are in actually pulling the natural hair pigment out of the hair shaft. Whether you decide to pull the color out with sun in spray, or hair lightening product, which will have peroxide in it, is almost the same difference. There are hair lightening products on the market that achieve what you what without damaging the hair too much.

Give it a try, you can always darken the streaks back to pretty much your natural hair color. Just make sure that you find a really good hair colorist that understands the concept of haircolor.

Hope this helps.

Sun-In Spray?

Does sun-in spray react with chlorine? Would I be able to use it before I get into a pool with cholrine in it? (and have it still work) And also does your hair have to be damp?

Sun-In Spray?

Be careful with that stuff! It use to make my hair orangy red every time, but I still kept trying it when I was a kid. Better to let your hair lighted up naturally in the sun, or buy some semi permanent hair color and give yourself highlights with that.

Sun-In Spray?

I'm not sure about it reacting w/chlorine. It contains peroxide.

Your hair doesn't have to be damp in order to use it.

Sun-In Spray?

yes, it reacts with chlorine, i know this because i am blonde (the same color/shade as in your pic of your avatar next to your name) and i got in our pool and my hair turned green later, dont use it! even if your not in water, sun-in turnes blonde hair green.

Sun-In Spray?

DON"T use Sun In...it will ruin your hair. I used to use it and I went to the salon and they told me it was very bad for your hair!!!

Sun-In Spray?

yes it reacts with chlorine but if you dont want anything weird to happen and you have time go get a non permenit dye and you will be good.

Sun-In Spray?

I use it because after years of dying my hair I won't go near hair dye anymore. I had planned on spending time in the sun and letting my natural highlights come out but then my doctor put me on a prescription that makes me sun sensitive. So Sun-In was the answer because you can use it with a blow dryer and it brings out your own highlights. My hair is gorgeous with it. No issues with it going brassy or looking orange here. It depends on what your natural highlights look like, don't blame it on the Sun-In.

And yes your hair does need to be damp to use it. It will react with chlorine so keep your hair out of the pool!

Hair tips for multi-racial toddler?

I have a 1 year old black/white/korean daughter. Her hair seems to be thin (fine) silky texture, not so much coarse, and its really curly. I can't figure out a good way to make her curls look tamed. I use baby shampoo with a spray detangler (sometimes i use a regular conditioner) then Pink Lotion Moisturizer.

Its seems to be ok, but her hair always looks so dry and it seems to be breaking off (she used to have alot of really pretty, thick, silky, curly hair - now its thin, brittle, dry-looking and curly.)

Any helpful tips?!?

Hair tips for multi-racial toddler?

1. You must condition, Pantene is great!

2. I think what your doing witht he pink oil moisturizer is good but she also needs some kind of hair grease for her scalp.

3. You need to keep in mind the older a child gets there hair texture changes. So you daughters hair when she was an infant will be different when she turns 1...then 2...and so on.

Hair tips for multi-racial toddler?

Hey sweetie,

One last thing, make sure you watch how much you out in her hair too. Too much stuff will make it too greasy, weight it down and it will start to break off! Report It

Hair tips for multi-racial toddler?

try ouidad products, they are supposed to be awesome for all types of curly hair, and they have products for kids!

Hair tips for multi-racial toddler?

I am Korean and I have tons of hairstyles I can give you but don't know how to explain it! Well, since your child is a toddler, I prefer high pigtails so it'll look cute! And don't worry! Your child's hair will be silky and natural again once she is about 5 or 6.

Hair tips for multi-racial toddler?

Just out of curiosity you obviously must not be the black person out of this combination, however as an African American mother of a bi-racial child my daughters have this curly hair and I use a lot of conditioner when I wash it and I put kemi oil in it once I am done washing it to grease the scalp and moisturize the hair in addition to using Motions Pomade it works wonders for styling and revitalizing hair! Plus washing the hair too often can strip it of it's natural oils so try and keep it to a once ever 2 week minimum!

Hair tips for multi-racial toddler?

put some hair oil to the scales

Hair tips for multi-racial toddler?

My daughters hair was very much like this.

I used a very very light coat of TCB chamomile and jojoba conditioner in her hair every day, especially after washing to hold the moisture in. VO5 conditioner is good too but I liked the TCB better- I find it at Dollar General with the products for African American hair. I started using it when she was 8 and we had to use it every day, now she is 13 and she uses it 3 - 4 times a week and her hair is just amazingly beautiful.

It is a grease and we only use a light light coat of it on her hair, not enough to make anything else or her hair look greasy- it conditions, strengthens and gives it a shine and an added bonus, for a child in daycare or school- it is excellent at preventing them from getting lice

Hair tips for multi-racial toddler?

i kno exactly wat u mean

i have that kinda hair

my mom is white and my dad is black so my hair is really long curl and dry looking

if u get her a perm it will definetly help

i got one last year and now its a lot easier to handle and it looks better

but ur kid is still young so i dont kno if she is to young to get a perm

if anything just go to a hairstylist and just ask them

Hair tips for multi-racial toddler?

I was going to suggest the pomade too, go to a beauty supply store and look for it in the ethnic section. And remember a little goes a long way!

Hair tips for multi-racial toddler?

I think that you should use a good leave in conditioner.Infusium is one that works really well.Another thing is to comb regular conditioner through her hair while she's still in the tub.

Sunsilk makes a 24/7 creme that is a leave in too.

Do you brush her hair a lot? That maybe why her hair is brittle and breaking.Plus if you put it in ponytails or braids that causes breakage also.Avoid the blowdrier at all costs. That will dry out and ruin her hair.

My hair is destroyed from straightening!!!!!!! HELP?

i have to straighten my hair but it becomes dry and broken very easily, i use a heat protection spray and serum what else can i do????

My hair is destroyed from straightening!!!!!!! HELP?

The best thing to do is to stop using your flat iron and definately don't put any chemicals on it. Deep condition and give your hair a break.

My hair is destroyed from straightening!!!!!!! HELP?

get your hair chemically straighten so you don't have to straighten it all the time

My hair is destroyed from straightening!!!!!!! HELP?

It may cost a bit but you should go to a real hair salon and they prob will be able to tell you what to do..

Either that or just let your hair rest for a bit.. scruntch it or something..?

My hair is destroyed from straightening!!!!!!! HELP?

apply oil

the best medicine is almond oil

My hair is destroyed from straightening!!!!!!! HELP?

i think you are doing all you can by using serum etc., maybe try using the straighteners before they get to their hottest point - that could possibly help. also try extra conditioner.

My hair is destroyed from straightening!!!!!!! HELP?

Get a decent trim every 6 weeks. Use a moisturizing conditioner.. AG hair balm is good. Also use a leave in conditioner.

Chemically straightened hair? Not a good idea. Its trashes it, strips it all of moisture and you will end up with serious breakage and split ends.

Also, get a good straightener and use it on a low setting.

My hair is destroyed from straightening!!!!!!! HELP?

i found that the heat protection is the problem try a smoothing creme instead and turn down the heat on the flat iron the other day i also fried off some hair and now i have like this cat fuzz looking thing on my baby hairs lol

My hair is destroyed from straightening!!!!!!! HELP?

well the best thing is to give your hair a break from straightening.. so you cud stop straightening your hair sometimes like in the weekend or something... and like i dont know if it's right but i've realized from straightening my hair that less hair falls when you straighten your hair when it's wet.. however when it's wet then it is harder to get really curly hair like mine dead straight...but yeh i guess if you use a lot of serum it helps and maybe you cud use a shampoo that repairs your hair and all.. cuz it does help with me

My hair is destroyed from straightening!!!!!!! HELP?

the same happened to me ... i had to have all the frazzled bits cut off and start again........it was the straighteners itself that knackered my hair ,so i bought a new set of better quality ones and use lots of protection.

My hair is destroyed from straightening!!!!!!! HELP?

You need to give it and oil and protein treatment. A salon will sell what you need or go to the chemist. The stylist in the salon will advise you as to which is the best treatment.

My hair is destroyed from straightening!!!!!!! HELP?

After you shampoo, use Tigi Bed Head Chocolate Head, leave it in your hair 3 to 4 minutes. Rinse it out and then condition as usual. It replenishes proteins in your hair. It works wonders and smells like chocolate cake batter...I love it!

My hair is destroyed from straightening!!!!!!! HELP?

ask hairdressing salon to recommend a good intensive conditioner or treatment to use at home.Have regular haircuts every six to eight weeks.Ask hairdresser for blow drying tips.Maybe when condition of hair has improved consider having a professional permanent straightening process.

My hair is destroyed from straightening!!!!!!! HELP?

dont straighteb your hair with a straightener go to the parlour they will put on some chemicals and then do it for you. well after getiin it done do apply oil in your hair and then while washing your hairs do put on a good shampoo and keep the shampoo in your hair for a while 5then brush nyour hair with the shampoo on then wash it then put on conditionor

3.brush your hair a little with the shampoo on

3.wash your hair

4.then put on a good conditioner

4.wash your hairs again

Hope it helps

My hair is destroyed from straightening!!!!!!! HELP?

you should remove all hair Four to Five times continuously, that practice I have done, I got good result.

My hair is destroyed from straightening!!!!!!! HELP?

stop straightening it for a while, y do u have 2 straighten it all the time? my hair is your typical mess of black wild curls and i only straighten it once a month!

My hair is destroyed from straightening!!!!!!! HELP?

you need to give your hair a break.

i used to straigten hair all the time, and really damaged my hair. and lost a lot of hair too.

i stopped straigning for 4 months now. my hair is less frizz and softer.

and i apply cocunut oil 1x week to moisture the hair (that has been lost from straigning) and also to add shine and softness to it.

and strighten hair in special occasions, and nice sunny days where you want to look your best.

If you have hair like mine, where a single rain falls on my hair it goes all frizzy, No point straightning it in rainy weather.

My hair is destroyed from straightening!!!!!!! HELP?

What else can you do? You can stop abusing your hair and learn to appreciate it as it grows.

Invest in some scarves and hats as you learn to work with your hair.

I suggest Massey's book "Curly Girl" as a beginning.

My hair is destroyed from straightening!!!!!!! HELP?

Ok thats good you use the heat protection and serum but you need to put extra at the ends of your hair too. Also, when you straighten.. the bottom of your hair is weaker so you don't need to put to much heat on them. First you need to go over your top part of your hair. From the scalp to the middle of your hair. It helps it straighten with less heat tours the ends. Then go over the hair again (right after you just went over the scalp-middle area) but, this time from scalp to ends.. I will help a lot. Also you need to get scalp treatments.. You can get it done at a salon or buy a home scalp treatment/ conditioning treatment. Also, getting your hair cut once or ever other month will him your hair from breaking. I hope I helped ya out...

My hair is destroyed from straightening!!!!!!! HELP?

Here are some info about hair straightening:

http://www.tips-for-hair.com/category/Ti...

My hair is destroyed from straightening!!!!!!! HELP?

Hmmmm...you're never going to get it back to the way it used to be. I would recommend some intensive hair conditioners. I have weak hair and what I do is buy a hair mask and put it in my hair and then don't rinse it out...just pop on a shower cap (this keeps the heat in, which makes the conditioner work better) and then leave it on for at least an hour. Sometimes...when I've gone crazy with the straighteners one week...I'll leave it on over night.

I would also say that you need to cut back on straightening your hair...try and find your hair's natural style and try to work with that.

My hair is destroyed from straightening!!!!!!! HELP?

Hi, There could be loads of reasons for this, Be prepared for quite a long answer, but it will be worth reading in the end. lol

Here goes,

First things first, go and get all the dead ends cut off. and then do the following,

I had this problem a long time ago, and no matter what shampoo, conditoner I used, and heat protection spray my hair seemed to become very dry and brittle, beacause I had to use my hair straighteners everyday. But all the problem really was was my hair straighteners were not doing my hair any good, even thought they where high heat ones. they just use to snag and pull and really make my hair worse every time i used them and I wasnt using cheap hair straighteners either.

But I switched to GHD and the problem was gone, but I also switched my heat protection spray and shampoo and conditioner.

When you used heated appliances all the time, you need to deep condition with a hair mask up to 3 times a week to keep it in good conditon, and also use a heat protection spray that doesnt coat the hair causing it to snap off more. I found nearly all the heat protection sprays that you can use on damp hair as well as dry hair, left a coating on that when you straighten with your straighteners, it just sizzles and snaps.

So resently I went to visit my hairdresser and she said I need to use INFRATREAT heat protection spray, its quite expensive but i got some and I can really tell the difference in how my hair straightens. I used to use morrisons own, straightening spray, this was good but not as good as the one above recommended by the hairdresser.

Hair serum when used with hair straightners actually damages the hair too so only use it afterwards.

You also need a good shampoo and condioner, I use Aussie Miracle Moist range, and found a big difference in my hair and less breakage, but it might not work for you.

I like tresemme shampoo and conditoner for weak and brittle hair. So if aussie is no good this might be ok.

Now, I dont like the frizz ease range but the hairdresser recommended me this hair masque that she says is better than any salon make. So I went of to tesco and got a pot. Its Firzz Ease Miracoulous Recovery Hair masque for hair that is in contact with heat appliences most of the time.

I tried it once and found my hair to become dead soft and fluffy, So I didnt think it was doing anything. So I used it within a few more days and left it on for 20 mins. like it says. And my hair did feel better and the ends looked 10 times better. I didnt use it last week and the ends are becoming more and more dry again. So I think I will stick to this product, The hairdresser recommends using it everyday. And at least leaving it on for 20mins twice a week.

Also another good products is Meditarreanean Hot oil a new product from avon. You just use it like a hot oil you normally get, but its really good as well for repairing split ends.

So I suppose to keep your hair in tip top condition this is what you will need to to.

Shampoo and condion with a repairing/reconstructing shampoo and conditioner, or in place of your conditoner you can us a hair masque and leave on for 5 mins, as your hair being is being straightend a lot of the time , its ok to use a hair masque in place of condioner.

Then once a twice week, use a different hair masque to the one you use daily or leave the one you use daily on for as long as you can 20mins or over, the hair dresser recommends filling up a hot bath and whilst you are in the bath put the hair mask on and leave it on until your ready to get out of the bath, as the heat from the bath opens the cuticles in the hair and this helps the hair masque to penetrate deeper in to the cuticle. Conditoning your hair loads more.

Then before you dry your hair, put on a leave in conditioner any type and put on your hair serum and then heat protection spray , then dry, however you dry your hair naturally/hairdryer. Dont put the hair serum on again until after you have dried and straightend, and I recommend using supersoft hair serum, not frizz ease, as supersoft repairs split ends unlike frizz ease and doesnt make the hair greasy.

and then proceed to straighten once dry and use the heat protection spray if the one you are using is recommend for use on dry hair. and spray on dry hair before you straighten it.

The best heat protection spray I have used other than INTRATREATis Ice shine by pantene, or the morrisons own.

as anything else just ruins the hair ,I think.

If you start doing this within the week you will notice the difference.

If there is till no inprovement, and you dont use GHD'S it might be worth getting some, as they are loads better than any i have tried and Ive tried loads trust me.

My hair is destroyed from straightening!!!!!!! HELP?

Stop straightening your hair, for one thing!

You're only going to damage it further if you continue doing this.

If you really must have straight hair, then buy a wig from Trendco, who supply many celebs, and wear that while you give your own hair a much needed rest underneath it!

Then, in a few months, go and speak to your hairdresser and ask their advice. But I would be wary of having it straightened chemically, it's not that healthy and remember: whatever you put on your hair, goes through your scalp/skin and straight into your bloodstream.

If you straighten your hair because it's very curly, you should leave it alone - curly hair is gorgeous!

I've messed up my hair chemistry!!!?

I have very thick, fine hair(very fine and a lot of it!). This is not such a good combo as it is. I had finally managed to make my hair behave beautifully for about a three week period using Matrix Amplify Root Lifter, Tresseme Shine/Anti-Frizz Spray, and Mastey Enove Shampoo and Conditioner. Well, then I was sick for about three weeks(pneumonia) and didn't eat for fifteen days. This was in late March. I am now seeing the effects of this as I am experiencing terrible breakage, my hair isn't even thick immediately after blow drying(it used to be that, even in its worst moments), and the texture is terrible. I have no idea how to fix this. I would like my hair to look nice in time for Graduation in May.

What can I do to fix my hair?

I've messed up my hair chemistry!!!?

Do a Britney Spears!! Then buy a nice wig!

I've messed up my hair chemistry!!!?

try to avoid a lot of heat styling because that could cause more breakage where your hair is weak

I've messed up my hair chemistry!!!?

Try a Cholestral treatment (its like a hot oil treatment buts its very thick like lard) It works beautiful, my hair is very fine and breaks alot. I used to loose lots of hair in the summer from being exposed to the elements (my hair used to be VERY long past my butt) and so broke when I was brushing it, and this was recommended to me. It comes in tube like toothpaste, some pharmacy type stores, like CVS carrying it some you need to ask..a beauty supply store should carry it, just call and ask them. You will need to shampoo your hair like 2 times to remove it..this is something I did on a monthly basis..I put it in at night and dependeing on how broken or split it was would leave on all night with a shower cap(very yucky) or with a towel and watch some shows then wash out.

the best medicine is almond oil

Here are some info about hair straightening:

Fair skin..spray tan..?

I have fair skin. I've got red hair and a million freckles. My prom is is in April and I'm wanting to test some tanning ways out that way I know what to do and what looks best.

I've thought about getting tanning lotion but I'm worred I'll just be streaky.

I've also thought about spray tans. But I dunno if I want that cause you can't be naked when you get that done. And I'm worried I'd look orange.

And I've thought about tanning beds. But I dunno about those since I'm so light skinned and would probably just burn and get more freckles.

What should I try?

Fair skin..spray tan..?

I tried spray tans once and it turned out fairly well. And you can be naked most places, it's just like a shower stall. You have to rub it in well after it sprays you, make aure you do a thourough job or it will get streaky. The color it gave was very natural though and held up well, especially on my face. You can try lotion, but I think its a lot more trouble and you never know how the color will turn out.

PLEASE don't try to tan naturally, people like you were not meant to tan. I'm sure you look beautiful pale anyway. Tanning will leave you with wrinkles and skin cancer, it's ok to be fake in this case.

Fair skin..spray tan..?

check out this product. it works great

http://www.relaxdepot.com/product/Henna-...

Fair skin..spray tan..?

I say be comfortable in your own skin!

If you all of a sudden turn up at your prom with a fake tan - everyone is going to know that it is a fake tan!!

All fake tans run on your clothes somewhat anyway, you dont what brown marks on the straps of your dress.

Make the most of being - pale, red headed and gorgeous!

Fair skin..spray tan..?

i know this is a really crap answer, and not what youre looking for, but if your very fair, with red hair and freckles (pretty colouring btw) a fake tan will NEVER look natural. itl be so obvious that you got a fake tan, even if its not at all streaky, and i think youd be better off buffing and exfolitaing and moisturising your skin loads so it looks really glowing and healthy and luminous. all skin colours are beautiful, or at the very least, more beautiful than some orange stuff smeared all over you.

Fair skin..spray tan..?

The people at the tanning salon will say that spray tan looks good. But it will look orange. I agree with being comfortable in your own skin. tanned skin is actually a symptom of skin damage. Look at the more classy, elegant models %26amp; actresses. They bare their pale skin proudly.

Fair skin..spray tan..?

I use no.7 spray tan from boots. Its a very nice colour not too dark you can apply more the following day for a darker look, its streak free and easy to put on yourself so no need to get worried, just have a mate to spray and rub it in on your back.

I have used this for a few months and everyone says its a lovely colour, natural like a gradual summer glow not an orange affect..

Fair skin..spray tan..?

Always fake it. Everytime you burn you are damaging your skin. Spray tan booths are common in the UK, so I imagine that they are available in salons in the US. I first saw one in the episode of Friends where Ross gets a tan.

I've used a booth a couple of times. Make sure you have exfoliated and mosturised the night before, paying attention to your knees and elbows.

When you get there, you are shown to a private booth where you strip naked. You stand on specific markers then press a botton. It sprays you and stops then you turn around and it sprays your back. You have a shower cap on your hair to protect it.

When it is finished you dab off the excess with a towel. Then dress as normal. I'd recommend having it the day before so it develops over night. Why no try it a week or two before the prom to make sure you like it? I normally lasts about 4 days.

The darkeness depends on what the salon set it to. If you ask for fair then you get a light tan.

Fair skin..spray tan..?

just buy a bronzing lotion....the lightest one. Jergens sells, it, Nivea has ones for different skin tones %26amp; Olay quench has the tiniest bit of sunless tanner to give u a oft glow. B/c you are so fair skinned, I DO NOT recommend tanning indoors or out as you will just burn and look like a lobster. Spray on tans however, are much more advanced tha they se to be. By going to a professional salon and having them do a Mystc(spray on) tan you won't have to worry about being orange or streaky. They can control the amount and its eay, private and you ARE naked in there. You won't look fake if you do it a couple times b4 the big day! So either do the bronze lotion or get the spray tan,but don't stay pasty, thats REALLY not cute!

Fair skin..spray tan..?

There are spray booths. You can get naked in that. Try to find one that moves around you so that you get sprayed four times instead of two.

Fair skin..spray tan..?

I would try the mystic tan and see if works for you. I would test it a few weeks before prom though. I am fair and freckly and it worked for me though I only went for one session. I think if I had gone for 2 or 3 it would have made the "tan" darker and more even.

Fair skin..spray tan..?

Fair skin, red hair and freckles. With that skin type, you should never go sunbathing or use a bed. Use a spray on tan, but choose the lightest colour and it will not look fake. This will give you a honey tan, dont go for full carribean look, cos that won't suit you.

Try a spray tan a few weeks before the prom, then you can see if it looks best on the 1st 2nd or third day and time it for your prom. If you dont like it, it will be long gone by prom time.

Don't worry about orange! and don't use a booth. Use a tanning tech and they will spray you to perfection. You can go topless or nude. I use http://www.tropical-sunrise.com but that is in the UK.

Oh! and enjoy your prom!

Hair loss at just 18?

Im 18, and for a while now my hairs been falling out a bit, and recently its started getting more rapid for some reason. I die my hair and straighten it which i know is unhealthy, but so do tonnes of other people and their hair isn't thinning...I know people loose an average of 50-100 haris a day, but im alot more and its starting to get quite worrying for me, is it something i should see my doctor about?

Info about me that probably has a part in it - I'm a light smoker, i use heat protector spray, i use colour care shampoo/conditioner, ive tried intensive conditioner and it dosent help much, i drink loads of water

Hair loss at just 18?

This can be a sign of quite a few things.

If you have noticed more hair loss than usual, then go to the doctor.

Many things can be fixed with a little hormone tweak (like the thyroid) and is really nothing to be scared of...

still, go ahead and get it checked out.

Now, losing 50-100 hairs a day is totally normal.

When you lose that many just putting a brush through your hair four times, like I used to with a hormone shift, well, then, that's a problem.

When te hair falls out eight or twelve strands altogether form the same place, you've got a reason to wonder what the heck id going on.

But 50-100 hairs a day is no big deal for the average bear.

If you're noticing a big change, then just get it checked, is all, but don't worry!

Hair loss at just 18?

Premature hair loss can also come from a deficiency of Zinc. Report It

Hair loss at just 18?

I Think the doctors the right place, none of the bloody fish wife tells you will get here.

Hair loss at just 18?

some peoples hair gets more affected by straightners and dye than others, so its probably too strong for your hair type hun. the best thing you can do is calm down with the straightning and dying for a while and see if it improves if so then you'll know the problem. if it doesnt help and gets worse see a doctor. i know its easier said than done im the same age as you and always straightning my hair lol

Hair loss at just 18?

I lost my hair during the one year from my 19th to my 20th birthday. Nothing you can do, and nothing you have done. It's genetic.

Hair loss at just 18?

dude you're getting bald

Hair loss at just 18?

I think the condition that you have is called alopecia, which is why your suffering from hair loss, but please get this checked. I dont want you to start panicking.

Go and make an appointment with your doctor as soon as you can . Its doesnt sound right to me.

Hair loss at just 18?

It does happen to young people sometimes, but it's somewhat rare for it to happen to someone so young without some kind of unusual cause. I would see a doctor, as it may be something treatable. What comes to mind is that it could be a vitamin deficiency, which can be corrected with the proper supplement.

Hair loss at just 18?

Have you been ill at all? Say about 2-3 months ago?

Being really sick, or being pregnant (or anything which puts a huge strain on the body) can cause temporary hair loss.

Due to the cycle of hair growth (or somesuch), the hair loss would only occur several months after the event, so you would not think to connect the two.

Hair loss at just 18?

i know how you feel i lose that much im 20 and the doc tells me you grow new hair everyday like new strans..

Hair loss at just 18?

I don't know if anyone else experiences this but I shed in the spring. Seriously. For about 2 months in the late spring/ early summer I leave hair everywhere but for the rest of the year its fine. I've been doing this for years but I don't remember it specifically until I started college. Maybe I'm a freak but maybe that could be whats going on with you hair.

Hair loss at just 18?

The smoking could be a factor.

Other things to consider are diet, is it balanced %26amp; do you take a multivitamin?

Are you on BCP? This causes hair loss/thinning in many women.

How is your thyroid? Another culprit to have checked.

If I can remeber anything else, I will edit my post.

Hair loss at just 18?

Do see a doctor as hair loss is a tough problem and as far as i know personally there is little real solution to this than wigs. this is esp. true when you realise the problem at a young age.

Hair loss at just 18?

DOCTOR..............................

Hair loss at just 18?

sorry, but I have a son and a nephew who had stated losing their hair at your age. It's just in your genes. My son tried everything, nothing worked. But if you leave your hair alone and try a new hair cut,who knows ?.

Hair loss at just 18?

well i would go see a hair specialist like ashley and martin. and stop worrying about it. maybe it is genetic. have a look at your granfathers hairlines... i am sure you get your genetics from your grandfathers line... so check them on old photos...

i dont rekon its too much to worry about. its just a vanity thing i suppose...

Hair loss at just 18?

im 18 and recently my hair seems to be falling out more than normal. i went to the dr who told me it was a time of thinning and unless i found bald patches it was fine. apparently loosing up to 300 hairs a day is still classified as normal. however if it continues to fall out for a long time then i cud go back and get some blood tests done. unlike you i dont dye or straighten my hair. some of my friends said i shud cut out conditioner and not tie my hair up as much. you shud probs go to the dr tho just to reasure yourself. x
