Make sure to wear a swim cap to minimize exposure to chlorine and pool chemicals, do everything except straighten and straighten it in the morning.

I also have thichk and frizzy hair, i would suggest using a moisturing/restoring shampoo, Optium Oil therapy works well for me and it does not frizz hair. You can get this at Wal- Mart and basically every other store that sells shampoo.

First of...chlorine damages the hair so be sure to wear a swimming cap EVERYTIME. This will protect your hair not only from the chlorine but from the glaring rays of the sun too. If you swim in an outdoor pool remember to use shampoo that protects from the UV rays. If I were you I would stop straightening my hair every time you shower too 'cause this will further lead your hair to become dry and brittle. By blowdrying and straightening you are using much heat which cooks your hair. You can always have your hair rebonded so you would not only save time but can also stay away from ironing your hair everytime 'cause your hair will be perfectly straight and shiny from now on. Avoid using too much product on your hair too as this will build up in your hair preventing products to work well. Use a clarifying shampoo at least once a week to bring out the natural shine of your hair and remove product build ups. Remember...today there are a variety of hair products in the market but that doesn't mean you should use all of them at the same time.
